Our Health & hygiene program aims to foster behavioral change towards hygiene and sanitary practices while providing basic health rights. We have introduced various activities to educate and offer essential health facilities to school students, benefiting 4,500 students. Here are the key initiatives:
WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene): We have built toilet blocks in schools, provided water purifiers, and benches. We also offer capacity-building assistance and ensure proper operation and maintenance of these facilities.
Comprehensive Health Check-Up: This assessment evaluates the overall health status of students and helps us plan preventive measures. It includes checks for BMI, nutrition, ENT, hemoglobin, skin, respiratory, CVS, PR abdomen, CNS, eyes, urinary tract, and more. Detailed assessments and recommendations are shared with students, parents, and teachers.
Under the Health and Hygiene education program we have modules that cover personal health, community health and adolescent health.
