Our initiative is dedicated to enhancing foundational literacy and numeracy skills, laying the groundwork for lifelong learning and success. Recognizing the crucial role these abilities play in personal and academic growth, we have developed targeted programs to strengthen reading, writing, and mathematical competencies from an early age. Through interactive learning experiences and personalized support, we strive to ensure that every individual gains the skills necessary to navigate the world confidently and achieve their full potential.

Humara Gaon

Humara Gaon is a comprehensive teaching model designed to support children aged 3–14 both in school and within their communities. This model emphasizes foundational literacy and numeracy skills and aims to create an environment where children can learn independently and collaboratively.

  • Teacher Training: Anganwadi workers and community volunteers receive training in early childhood education activities. As part of our Education for Education initiative, these volunteers are also offered skill-based courses to enhance their teaching capabilities.
  • Mother’s Group: To support early childhood education, 3-4 mother’s groups are established in each village. These groups encourage mothers to actively participate in their children’s learning processes.
  • Mother Mela: This event gathers all mother groups and provides them with Engagement Kits containing teaching-learning materials. These kits help children acquire age-appropriate skills in an engaging manner.
  • Learning Activities: Regularly shared remote learning content keeps children engaged in educational activities. Periodic events, such as School Readiness Events, are organized to boost community involvement in the children’s learning process. By focusing on these core elements, our initiative ensures that children receive the support they need to build strong foundational skills, fostering a lifelong love of learning
